My Destiny
Today is the day I am committing to changing my life!
I will be true to my authentic being by believing that my opportunities are limitless, and the possibilities of succeeding and doing many great things are endless. I will not set my goals to be terminal destinations. They will be set as the targets I use to constantly raise myself to new heights. I will release myself from worry and allow my mind to be set free. All of my energies will flow as they should, and I will choose daily to follow my destiny.
I know I have a divine purpose!
I will actively set a plan, and put it in motion allowing me to fulfill my divine purpose. I will conquer my fears daily with positive reinforcement. I am secure in the knowledge that there are no coincidences in my journey through life. Every situation, as well as every person I come across will have a reason as well as a lesson. I will continue to be open-minded and allow the lessons to be learned, and the reasons to be understood in their own time.
I will discover and continuously improve my core values.
I will practice loving my neighbor as I love myself, by treating every individual as an equal. I understand that the core of every being is the same. There is no such thing as a good or evil person, only good or evil choices. The only thing that I have control over are my choices. I will do my best to choose wisely and deal with the consequences to my actions as they come. I will deal with problematic situations directly and immediately. This can only be done when I choose not to focus on the problem. I must find and apply a solution; once my problem is solved I will not look back.
I will practice patience!
From this I will understand that everything happens in the order it must, and in the required time.
I will exercise self-control!
This will allow me to reconnect with my authentic being. I am acknowledging that there are forces of nature (both good and evil), which create circumstance. I will stay true to my authentic being by respecting my environment and those in it. I will not allow myself to become a victim or bi-product of any circumstance!
I will not form any serious attachments.
I understand that in order to progress I will often have no choice but to leave something or someone behind. I will however love freely, unconditionally, and equally. I will not dwell on what I leave behind, or on the sacrifices I have made in order to continue to grow and mature as the unique individual I am. I will look ahead towards genuine greatness and strive to attain it! I will welcome and encourage change because I understand that remaining stagnant is very unhealthy, and it results in the disrespect of my authentic being.
I understand that in order to love I must have self-esteem.
I have to know my worth and bestow upon myself the amount of love, honor and care that is essential to my own existence. I will continue to be honest with myself, especially with things I see as painful. I recognize that although the truth sometimes hurts, it will never hurt as much as being deceived! By starting this within, it will manifest in all my interactions with others. I will take into account the sensitivity of any given situation and bring forth any necessary criticism in a positive and productive manner.
I know I am choosing to walk a road with many obstacles.
The obstacles will come in all ways, shapes, and forms through the people I meet or the circumstances I must endure. However I will embrace them! They are the nourishment I need in order to grow. As I overcome these obstacles they will transform into my greatest and most rewarding blessings. These obstacles allow me to mature while offering me the opportunity to learn all of life's valuable lessons. I will continuously and actively pursue reaching new heights. I will also learn which of my morals, values, and characteristics are key in getting me there. I know that this in itself is a HUGE learning process. I must allow myself to be receptive to all of these very important lessons.
I am fortunate to acknowledge and accept these lessons.
I am also compassionate in knowing the number of persons who lack these lessons far outweigh the number of persons who possess them. I will do my part to spread this knowledge through compassion, love and understanding. To overcome my doubt I will drop my insecurities and remain true to my authentic being. I will not feel the blessing of love if I keep it locked in my heart. Love only becomes significant as I practice sharing it with others throughout the fleeting moments of every day. I will share my love with a warm smile, reassuring words, and a very quiet ear.
I will commit to pass on these simple, yet necessary lessons!
